Welcome, it must be the third Sunday of the month and we all know what that means. Yep, it's the RemARKables Blog Hop...this month we are featuring Halloween. I have a confession to make, I didn't buy any new Halloween sets. So what I made with you was this wall hanging of the most favorable characters for Halloween, the Cat, Frankie, a Pumpkin, and a Ghost. I hope you enjoy.
No Stamps were involved in this project. It's all punch art. I started with 4x4 inch squares of basic black, pumpkin pie, whisper white, and old olive. The strip behind the squares is two pieces of basic black cut at 1 1/4" x 11" put together. The cat i used the basic black bakers twine, 3/4" circle punch and took the 2" circle punch to make the mouth. The pumpkin I cut a 1" square and cut in half and just a piece of scrap to cut the nose, the 2" circle punch for the mouth and then just cut some pieces out. The ghost I used the 3/4" circle for the eyes and the 2" circle punch cut in half out of basic black. Frankie I cut a piece of basic black at 2"x 4" and cut the hair, 3/4" circle for the eyes out of whisper white, and 1/2" circle for the center of the eyes. just cut two small rectangles out of basic black. Drew the mouth and the scars with the basic black stampin' write marker. I also took the pumpkin pie stampin' write marker and drew lines on the pumpkin and took smoky slate and sponged around the ghost.
Now hop on over to Anne Matasci - http://wp.me/pCcBw-2ch blog to see what she has created.
Until next month,
Enjoy
